Their Ryzen 2000 series processors are not only all overclockable, but EXTREMELY strong in price to performance now that Ryzen 3000 exists. RX cards are the only series worth buying but they are very competitive and cheaper than NVIDIA stuff. (Never ever ever buy a used power supply its very dangerous and could fry your system, a brand new rosewill 600w is like 60$ and worth the peace of mind) The only parts worth buying brand new are your RAM, and your Power Supply. A brand new cpu and one used for gaming for a year or so will be the exact same. The 10 are only necessary really for video editing. This is an amazing card and will continue to be amazing until 1060s are cheaper.

I use this card in my gaming PC because frankly it can run just about anything 100fps on ultra. It has similar performance to a 1060 3g, only barely edged out by the 1060 6gb variant. The 980 TI is a fantastic card but can be a little hard to find.
Im assuming you arent going to buy a 1080 if its your first pc, so if youre looking at a gtx 1060 or 1660, consider an older card from NVIDA *(not applicable to AMD cards their old stuff is garbage, unless you have a 1000w PSU then go for a fury X lol) specifically higher end 900 series cards. Extensions like honey will alert you to price drops on items, so pay attention to that. Certain stuff will go on crazy sales but only for about 2 hours, they are usually at like 2 am, but what you can do is go on Japan amazon, so when its like 2 in the afternoon here and you can get some nice deals, but if youre not a Prime member be ready to pay for the shipping. Often though what you save in one place might end up just being put back on in another place if you're not careful. Or see if you can track pricing history, might give you a better idea when discounts pop up on some stuff. There are also the late summer sales on right now so be worth keeping an eye on them, just in case. Novatech too (if you don't mind paying a lil bit more, I've had good experience with their customer support). Ebuyer, Aria, Scan and Overclockers also have sales on too. Shop around too, don't just look on Amazon. They're cheap brands that use rejected parts from major ones. Often the sales I keep seeing at times, sometimes is Samsung on their EVO series, but they also 'offer' dreg like TCSunbow, that have no web presence or support. Sometimes they put the odd PSU on there but go with reputable brands for that regardless of deal. Peripherals can usually be found sometimes on there, Corsair often but mostly Logitech from what I've seen. Case in point, saw a 1060 6GB, on "offer" for £170, the listed price scrubbed out was £416 (which is ridiculous because that card has never been anywhere near that). Be wary that sometimes Amazon puts the prices up before hand to make the deals seem better than what they actually are.
